Well-known not just for her moonlight-colored hair, Ashleigh’s kindness, empathy, and compassion eclipses her lack of skill in combat. She may not be the best, but she makes it up with heart and iron will: when Ashleigh knows there are people to protect and the stakes are high, she will stand, she will crawl, she will fight as long as there is breath left in her.“It’s okay to fall–because if you fall, you can rest before you get up again!”From Princess of Ala Mhigo to Ala Mhigan refugee, Ashleigh was five summers old when she reached Ul’dah. Jing is the youngest daughter of the Qin family.The Qin were a wealthy family of Raen who settled on the lands of Yanxia. Their history tells of good relations between the Ruby Sea’s Confederacy and the people of the land and the establishment of trade routes under the guidance of the Qins to share in the spoils of the sea.During the invasion of Doma, the late Lord Qin sided with the invading force of Garleans, his family rising higher in power due to these relationships and the family's trade routes now in the hands of the Garlean Empire. 20 summers later this decision would be the family's downfall, with the Garlean powers driven back and political powers shifting the Qin Family was at the mercy of enemies they’d made for aiding the Garlean Occupation and profiteering from the suffering of the people they should have been protecting. Lord Qin was desperate and used his only daughter in a political match with the late Lord Cloudgleam to pair their children, in a deal meant to grant his family safe passage to Eorzea.It’s no secret for anyone who’d followed news or gossip from Yanxia that her family had met with a cruel end at the hands of the villagers who’d been starved from the Qin trade lines being diverted in the war and Garlean occupation. Luckily for Jing, she’d been at sea during the raid, visiting her betrothal in Coerthas.Jing Qin has made resistance in Lavender Beds staying with Ashleigh Nightingale, Kaze Rikiya, and Obtained Signature after making quite the scene around Ul'dah looking for her Fiancé with posters she'd made of the missing Illumi Cloudgleam, seeming to have no funds for her endeavor and living on what little money she could make from stealing things she’d packed from her visit with the Cloudgleams to be able to keep herself off the streets.Now she’s starting her own life with the help of her new friends in Eorzea. She’s still not fully aware of the political nature of her family's involvement in the war and struggles with the knowledge that her family was on the wrong side of the conflict, but she wants to do better. She wants to remember her father and brothers for how they loved her and not the suffering they caused.

Maybe he's here to gather intelligence on whether or not Bozjan Queens survived after The Incident, or for leads on how Garlemald's movements can be undermined in his homeland.Perhaps this grizzled Hrothgar man is only here to take the edge off with a drink or twenty after a hard day's work— whispers have it that a warm body in bed soothes him more than drink— the innkeepers frequently receiving complaints of noise from the room he rents during cold nights. Quality delivery, at your service.As a young Miqo’te first venturing out on her own, she found work as a postmoogle(catgirl?), delivering goods in and around the Black Shroud. Once entrusted to bear a fragile package wrapped in silk from Old Gridania to the Observatorium in the Coerthan Central Highlands, she braved the winds, rains, and snow, battling banemites and wolves with her weathered shortbow, all the while sneaking around the Ixali patrols. Though she was careful, she still inevitably had to face down a small band of Ixal who discovered her campground. Sniping them from the very sparse cover of a cliff, she was forced to confront them with only her bowstave and her hunting knife when her last bowstring snapped, leaving a long gash on her cheek. Bloodied, weary yet victorious, she trudged on the cold roads to her destination, finally entrusting the package to the recipient. Amazed at how the package still seemed pristine as the day it was wrapped, the tower lord provided her with an access pass and spread word of her diligence, so that she was entrusted with carrying deliveries to and fro.However, her days of deliveries are no longer her primary focus. Instead of delivering letters, she now finds herself studying to deliver the law, as insisted on by her overloving brother. On days she finds him too much, she sneaks, too often in fact, away to her husbun where she waltzes in and snipes at his cooking with the same precision she's delivered all her letters and packages. In fact, you can still find her with the same diligence when entrusted to make deliveries, ensuring clients maximum satisfaction and always back for her services.

Plucked from her roots at an early age, the Au ra has since survived solely by her art-- a craft she had loathed in the past, but learned to love through the decade of her enslavement-- a past she's not keen to divulge completely.Her expertise in woodcraft afforded her the title of Sainthood, but has since defaulted the title to two other peers. Yana would prefer to prove herself regardless of her position.She currently travels between city-states, now on her 26th summer, trying to find a home to call her own and under the name she chose for herself. Any questions of her previous life would be met with a curious stare. Though, a much keener eye would see through her constant right-handed pallor, followed by a whispered-- yet proud-- admission:"Bathed in flame, I did what must be done."

During the Garlean Expansion campaign, the young Anton was out alone for the first time hunting and gathering for the newly formed family that he is to provide and protect. Within his first week he had destroyed one whole infantry squad of Garleans scouting the Gridanian forest on his own. The next week there would be two squads. Within two months Anton, with Spears, a Bow and plain old Martial Arts. Would have killed an entire small company worth of Garleans, with more on their way the following days.More weeks go by, Anton making sure his family is fed and his home safe from creatures and invaders alike. His proficiency with his weapons and powers growing with each skirmish he partakes in. The adventurers sent to scout would report on the aftermath. Hoping to find whoever was able to take on the invaders.One evening Anton scouts a garlean camp, under the cover of night, and takes out the forward squad among the possessions of the Garleans is a peculiar crystal, Anton had not seen anything like it in his life to this point. The Dragoon Gem instills an even bolder sense of confidence and skill.The following morning, the proper battle for the small patch of forest begins, Anton fighting squad after squad. The Crystal gives him the newfound ability to leap great distances while holding his spear. The speed and agility confounding the Garleans and allowing the adventurers that follow an easy path through to key objectives.How the adventurers would describe it was “As if the wind itself was cutting them.” The fast and rapid movements of Anton cutting down the soldiers was a boon to them.After the battle had been won, the Garleans never returned to that part of the forest, The guild thanked Anton for his efforts. Anton asked that the guild help feed his family, with the mouths to feed ever growing. He can’t keep up without ensuring his forest turns into a barren waste. So he enlists with the guild, hoping to be able to get enough money and connections to ensure his growing family will never want again.

It might seem odd seeing a maid in a tavern like this, wearing a dress better suited for the halls of a rich nobleman, moving with the elegance of a well-trained lady-in-waiting, yet with a gaze as sharp as the razor edge of the knife she keeps clipped to her apron.It might seem even more bemusing to Sharlayans the presence of the woman in the dress. What is Professor Adalinda doing in this place, serving guests and cleaning up the spilled messes of drunken patrons? Why is one of the senior gleaners working here, of all places? How has one of the oldest living citizens of Old Sharlayan found her way to this place? It might seem to the well-travelled that there is more to this maid than meets the eye…Many of the regulars will greet her warmly as a good friend, though it seems that she acts… differently as she makes conversation. Her mannerisms, speech, even her tone changes almost at random, though the regulars treat this as a normal occurrence. What is going on here? Perhaps it is time for you to find out, dear visitor.

Rumor had it that whenever The Trickster had been at work, confusion soon followed. People couldn’t seem to figure out her identity. One guard had said the intruder was a female miqo'te, another had said it was a male au'ra, and yet another had said they’d just seen a fox running around on the premises and dismissed it.That aside, the would-be viera wasn’t known to shy away from getting her own claws wet, be it debtor or deadly beast. And though few had seen her work in person, she had made the fact widely known — regarding the former, at least.Now, Adventurer, would you approach The Trickster Viera clad in mystery? Or did rumors about her turn you away? Perhaps an auspicious encounter awaits those brave enough.

Amazed, she decided to train to become one herself.During her time as a maid, she began to learn about the hearts of others, coming to understand that there were all sorts of smiles, bright or subtle, yet they made her feel warm all the same. Looking up to her head maid, she tried her best to spread cuteness and make her masters feel at home in the cafe. She still feels embarrassed when receiving compliments and remains particularly vulnerable to teasing, choosing to hide how happy they make her feel.This Valentione’s, she looks forward to serving her masters with smiles and cuteness. The dimensional rift shut down, but a few of the simulations managed to be retrieved.Aize is one of the simulations that the elementalist fought against; she could be said to be the one who looked most like her, as they fought each other in the final simulation. The Miqodroid became deeply interested in her defeater and decided to follow and learn from her “Master” all knowledge, tactics, and emotions.The elementalist showed Aize that the world was not only about evolution, but also about living. Over time, the two formed a bond as they explored together, from Etheirys to Ultima Thule, where Omega once resided. Unfortunately, that journey also marked the last stop for her master. The elementalist went Missing in Action after the battle with the Endsinger, along with Zenos. She promised to carry her master's legacy, dream and name to explore more about the Eorzea.In a fortunate turn of events, she returned from Tural to Eorzea, her little sister shared everything she had learned, including the maid café she now worked at, just like she once did before exploring Tural. She was even invited to work as a maid again, if only for a while.
